Is the Learner Centre open?
No. As of March 18, 2020, we are closed indefinitely. Please see the News Section of our website for information on how to access library services during this time.
My books are overdue or due soon, but I am not able to come in due to illness, self-quarantine, or because I no longer have childcare. What can I do?
Stay home and hold onto the books until you are able to return them to NorQuest or another NEOS Library. Do not worry about late fees - due dates will be extended to June 1st

I owe late fees to other NEOS Libraries, but I am not able to take care of them because the library to which I owe them is closed, I am not able to come in due to illness, I am in self-quarantine, or because I no longer have childcare. What do I do?

from your NorQuest email and a Library staff member will waive your fees. As of March 17, 2020, all NEOS items are due June 1, 2020.
Why can’t I place holds?
As of March 17, 2020, holds will not be filled by any NEOS Libraries.
I placed a hold on an item several days ago. Will I still be able to pick it up?
No. Please keep a record of the holds you placed before the closure and place them again when regular Library service resumes.
Can I place interlibrary loans?
No. NorQuest College Library is not filling Interlibrary Loans at this time. Please check https://library.norquest.ca/
I have an interlibrary loan from another institution. What should I do?
If the Library is open, you can return it to the Circulation Desk at the Library. If the Library has closed, please hold onto the item until the Library reopens. You can return it to the Library at that time.
I am a distance student and need books mailed to me. Can I still do this?
Not at this time. In order to keep yourself and our staff safe, we are not mailing books out. If you are in need of a textbook, please use the textbook chapter request form
to ask for a single chapter of your book for now OR see if your book is available online (whether through the library's catalogue or VitalSource). Please refer to the Library news
for more information about textbooks.
