Library COVID-19 Update #5: Learner Centre CLOSED
Following the recommendation from the NorQuest College executive, the Learner Centre will be closed to students until further notice. The Learner Centre space, including the Library, Tutorial and Academic Coaching, and Computer Commons, will be unavailable to students until further notice. For the most up-to-date information on the College's COVID-19 announcements, please visit norquest.ca/coronavirus
A reminder that if you are feeling ill, please use the self-assessment tool provided by Alberta Health Services before contacting HealthLink (8-1-1) for advice and help.
You may receive emails from our Computer Commons help desk asking you to set up your online password recovery in the next few days. Please take some time and follow the steps outlined in the email or if you did not receive that, please go to this website to register yourself.
Tutorial and Academic Coaching:
Tutorial and Academic Coaching Services is accessible online as of March 18, 2020. Please visit norquest.ca/tutor for more information on how to get help from the tutor-coaches.
If you need assistance, here are the options available to you (in order of preference):
1. Email the library at library(at)norquest.ca with your questions.
2. Use the chat service to be instantly connected to our staff.
3. For research and citation help from a librarian, email email@example.com and ask for a librarian to contact you. For help with writing, including organizing ideas and grammar, contact the Writing Tutors at firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for them to contact you.
